Today you are going to learn how to use the suffix -ed.

You have four short tasks to complete in your home learning journal which are explained below. You will need to open the word document to find the words for each task.
Task 1: Change the verbs into past tense
e.g. Bake -> Baked
Task 2: Double the consonant before adding -ed.
e.g. Flip -> Flipped
Task 3- For verbs ending in –e remove the ‘e’ and add ‘ed’
e.g. Change -> Changed
Task 4- For verbs ending in –y then change the 'y' for an 'i' and add ‘ed’
Cry -> Cried
Challenge: Pick 5 words and use them in sentences.
